The Waterfalls

Image
There I stood the waterfalls by, When like a house of cards Blown away by the wind- Likewise something came, blowing away the heart. From the Niagra did I fall- Seeing only the water me beside, Hearing the sound of the flowing riverside. My world became so small- And I- I liked it all. All of a sudden the ground hits, Back to reality it all seemed, The water still over my head sits; And I,I to flow away dreamed. Nature has its path for us, Can we be so brave as to cross it ? Or flow with it timidly- "Hush ! No one dare disobey me, for I like a pedestal sit" (she says) But flowing on and on like to oceans by, It makes you wonder if there is- However small a chance Of the first drops of Niagara meeting its last Perhaps then, it was true love after all. This is a poem I wrote on the wild infatuation that comes when you come across something that is perfect to you. Climate Change-The 3R’s, Incineration, Biomagnification and Eutrophication

This means that cost of commodities like plastic and prepared and not ...

This picture reminds me of the multitude of atrocities committed against little children across the globe, that are often ignored by the people in power. At first  glance, it might seem to be a seemingly innocent picture but if seen carefully, one can observe the helpless look in the girls’ face. It is a testament to the fact that children are still being exploited for money in various parts of the world. However, what does this speak for India as a nation itself , may I ask? Today, all Indian children between six to fourteen years of age are guaranteed compulsory education, but how often do we see that in effect? Not only does child labour restrict these millions of children from going to school for a ...
